100 themes challenge - 6. Break
She was crying hysterically. Why nobody cared, why they had always said that "hold on, you have two years left.. one year left.. one week left." But still he beat her up on the last day - and nobody even looked at her and those tears. Luckily that would really be that last day, and then she could start to live her own life. .. but how.. how she could just forget everything and be happy? She was on her way, on the road - on the road which was covered with mist, and she was uncertain. Could she continue on this road, or should.. should she choose another way? No, they say that you can't talk about those another ways - just be quiet and continue. So how.. how she could live and fly with strapped wings? One guy said once; "Why? Why do humans only stare at the sky? Why do you want to fly the skies when you don't have wings?" .. She would really want to fly, fly to the peace, silent, to the ample sky where you could rest.. where you wouldn't have to worry about anything.. So maybe that was an answer to the question, why people wants to fly. Or maybe not - but that guy said too, that "I'm going to run to anywhere I have to with these legs." And so does she too - she run to the mist, on the uncertain road. But she doesn't look back.

yes, i know that the theme is 'break', but this is my entry to
's contest - and contest's another theme of two was 'breakaway'. It was so touching and important theme to me so i had to try, even that i know that i cannot win anything. i know that this sucks, but i still finished it - even that i almost left it incomplete.
i have many thoughts behind of this pic, and i had a strange feeling the whole time while i drew this, but still.. i don't have anything more to say.
|| Done with Derwent's colour pencils, black nail polish, white watermark and Copic Ciao's, maybe on 6 - 7 hours ||
